It’s not always easy bringing the different elements of someone’s lifestyle together, but this is the challenge I love and it’s why I became a health and fitness coach in Aberdeen, my home town. When it comes to sports injuries, any rehabilitation requires a specific individual approach and the ability to work in partnership with other specialists in the acute aspects of sports medicine. These would include a sports physician, physiotherapist and a sports masseur. We all work together in the common goal of enabling the individual to lead a healthier, fitter life. Many require ongoing support to guide them through the many tests they face.  

As a health and fitness coach, I need to be a friend, mentor, educator and personal trainer. The education is arguably the most important element of this too as ultimately, I want the client to take control of their own health and fitness – they literally need to become their own trainer! 

You simply can’t put a price on living a healthy, illness-free lifestyle so I make this my goal for everyone of my clients, regardless of their starting point.
